Allsteel

Icon provided Construction Management services for the renovation of this furniture manufacturer’s showroom. This was the third project Icon was contracted to complete for Allsteel. The new design intent was to have an open space to showcase the client’s new line of office components. In order to avoid disturbing the existing VAT flooring, a “floating” subfloor was installed. Linoleum flooring covers much of the space with areas of carpeting and stone as well. Allsteel’s new office front system is highlighted by a custom perforated metal ceiling, including custom light fixtures. The reception area greets clients with an electric fireplace and custom distressed oak millwork benches and upholstering. The space includes full audio/visual capabilities in order to allow greater flexibility for client presentations.
