This project encompassed the relocation of a client’s multiple locations in Manhattan to 1 Penn Plaza. The entrance area was built with French Oak wide-plank flooring leading into a reception area, main circulation areas and a large coffee bar and pantry area featuring an open glass and wood clad interconnecting stair and graffiti on the walls. The build-out of the general office space included multiple large conference and presentation rooms with full Audio/visual capabilities; private offices and open workstation areas; executive offices including an executive toilet and shower facility; and a large high-density filing area. Additionally, a new data center inclusive of supplemental A/C, a full UPS system and pre-action sprinkler protection was built out. The project was completed within the required 16-week schedule and within the budget established during pre-construction.
