This project consisted of the build out of one floor, followed by another a year later for this expanding money management company. The space included high-end details such as a lacquered wood panel signage wall and a terrazzo floor in the entrance area. The office spaces and open areas were enhanced by wrapped columns and full height glass office fronts with glass doors. Other features of the space included a conference room with full audio/visual capabilities, an eat-in pantry and a terrace with landscape lighting and manicured evergreens which provide an unobstructed view of Fifth Avenue looking north and south. A staircase with full height walnut panels, walnut soffits and terrazzo treads adjoins the two floors. Fiber optic lighting was incorporated to illuminate the bottom five steps. Despite the challenges of building the entire space (original and new) to appear as if it had been built at the same time, Phase 1 and 2 were completed on time and within budget.
