Icon provided Construction Management services for this real estate investment fund’s project involving a complete office build-out on one contiguous floor. A new air conditioning system consisting of six units was included in the scope. The space was wrapped with a custom walnut slat wall including “hidden” coat closets set within. Offices fronts and doors were all low iron glass with patch fittings, custom leather and stainless steel door pulls and closers for hardware. The entire space was constructed with a bamboo flooring border that sits adjacent to carpet with 1/8” aluminum angle. The kitchen and lunchroom consisted of custom stainless steel cabinets and a custom stainless steel integrated countertop with restaurant style appliances. Additionally, the conference rooms featured motorized blackout shades, full audio/visual capabilities and a custom perforated stainless steel ceiling system. The project was completed in 14 weeks and required extensive coordination for all custom details.
